Good luck at the gym!
Sadly I am that sort of size

No idea if the brands in the links are any good I am just using the link for the pictures.
It was all I had to hand. I only had one sports bra. Still do at the moment. It was to try and stop movement when I was trying to do couch to 5k. I messed up my achilles tendon so wont be trying that again.

Of course, it also depends what exercise the OP does.
Nowadays, I do gentle exercise with the most strenuous being on my cross trainer.0 -
Highly recommend Enell bra. From boobydoo.co.uk or Amazon.
I'm very big bosomed and swear by them. At first they feel quite constricting, but that's the point! Front fastening is a huge bonus. Definitely not cheap, but fab.

My wife recently bought some UnderArmour sports bras and she says they are the best she's ever bought.
Having said that... she's nothing like a 40E...

A single sports bra with racer or cross-over back works fine for me.
Of course, it also depends what exercise the OP does.

At the moment cross trainer, treadmill and bikes in the gym. But I had a PT session with my partner and part of the warm up was running up and down and the room and then jumping jacks style while running side wards and traditional jumping jacks.
I want to take a few classes as well. My partner told me I had a nice bounce while doing the jumping jacks
As I said I am not built to jog/run. But want to keep the bounce under control.

No shame in that, especially when you're taking steps to improve your health. I was bigger than that, now a size 12, still can't run for toffee!
Debenhams have several Freya sports bras in your size. They have Shock Absorbers too but they give a horrid four boob effect.0 -
Are you close to a branch of Bravissimo? They have a brilliant fitting service and specialise in bras for ladies with larger cup sizes

Thank you. I am very conscious of my size.
I have issues around food. Hence the size I am. But me and my partner have started going to the gym. Did kettle fit last night  and went and did 1mile of the cross trainer, 1.5 mile walking on the treadmill and 1.5 on the bike this morning.

I know you said you aren't planning to run but the Shock Absorber "run" bras are what I use for classes like body attack, combat and insanity. I'm a 30g but go up a back size and down a cup size in them so 32ff works for me. They aren't easy to fasten so I do up the top fastener first than put over my head before pushing myself into them and fastening the bottom bit. It's not pretty but I stopped caring long ago.:)
I did try a Royce bra from Bravissimo a while back but it needed hubby to get me into it and I almost dislocated my shoulder getting it off so it went in the bin after one use as if couldn't be returned.0
