Hi Folks,
I have a moment right now for an update so I have done the following:
- Added Principality BS Learner Earner account to post 2 (children's account, details as in the post that is two above this one)
- Corrected the "interest from" date in the Nottingham BS Special Regular Saver (Issue 8) account entry
Unless something changes today or tomorrow, the next update will be next weekend.

Does anyone know if the Nottingham Building Society Sunshine Regular Saver permits early closer? I know it doesn't allow withdrawals, but I don't know if you can close it early. Could really do with getting the funds out as in a house buying process.0

Sunshine RS isn't available.
Do you mean the Special Regular Saver Issue 8 or Regular Saver Issue 3 or Members Rewards Saver?
If you do details here:
https://www.thenottingham.com/savings/our-savings-accounts/regular-savings/
Edit - just re-read your post and I've had an (unsuccessful) look for my paper terms for this account).
Without those my best guess is I think you'll be able to withdraw up to £10 but no early close.0 -

No withdrawals allowed till maturity - that's from the T&Cs sheet. If it's any help you can miss as many payments as you like.
Tellingly enough they add: 'As we don't allow withdrawals you need to be sure you won't need to access your money until the account matures'. Sorry0 -
The Loughborough BS has launched a new RSA: 2.00% variable; max £250 per month; can be opened and operated by post. This new issue replaces a similar product paying 1.50%, which has been withdrawn.
NB: the same BS also has a separate "Save to Buy" RSA paying 3.00%, which seems to be still available.0 -

How rigorous are they on the ID checks for new postal customers?
Do they really need the certified copies of ID in addition to their electronic check?0 -
Loughborough Building Society RSA
There is no online access to view account balance/transactions. You need to phone them if you want to check that FP's/SO's have been credited to the account.0 -
I didn't expect this! My regular saver matured yesterday, the proceeds were in the 0.20% account today, I transferred it all to my Advance current account, then all but £260 withdrawn to my main current account elsewhere and opened a new RS online.
I was originally told 5 days for the RS proceeds to appear. The new one will be sorted in 2 working days so I may have preserved the 19/7 opening date. From something I read on here I expected to have to phone and persuade someone to open the new one for me!0 -
