Also be aware that 57 reward partners are leaving the scheme.

Update 12.15pm Wed 17 Jan: Supermarket giant Tesco is to postpone major changes to its Clubcard Rewards scheme after a furious backlash from customers and a call from MSE founder Martin Lewis for it to rethink the changes.
Tesco has told us today that it is implementing a period of grace, and that Rewards tokens that were moving from 4x to 3x the value will be moved back to 4x for the time being.
Full details on the grace period will follow but Tesco has told us it's "likely" to last until 10 June, after which 4x vouchers will drop in value.
Tesco has said anyone who has lost out as a result of the changes should contact its customer service centre.
  • Oh boy, I bet the CSC people will love this - not! Perhaps some won't feel too down hearted that the place in Cardiff is closing.

Personally, won't make any difference - just don't spend enough, to have big value vouchers, and Rewards - nothing of interest.

Where I go is more of a toss up depending on - conditional spend incentives. Just finished a few from Tesco, used one for Sainsbury (£3.00 off £30.00), but have had an offer from Morrisons of 4,000 points for a £40.00 spend.

Can't help but notice that all supermarket's prices are going up.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

Is that the new exchange/old exchange or no difference?

Thank you, post of the day.
I would have been happy with an extra week TBH.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.
  • I am really disappointed that no notice was given of the change for a different reason (whilst I agree with the others cited)....I had been saving my vouchers to exchange for a spa finder voucher for a dear friends 'big' birthday....to log on today to find spa finder have been removed totally...they were still there recently... so very let down that wasn't warned of change in partners available.....

So we now have to wait until June for 3x at Red Spotted Hanky? Oh great. I was one of the few people happy about the changes!

It is still going to 3x right?

    Don't know.

I've already sent Tesco a message on Twitter.
