GQ could you use lids off tupperware boxes or something similar if they're smaller to juggle in your freezer?

We're picking raspberries daily and having for breakfast with full fat Greek yogurt. Absolutely scrummy. Also enjoying our weekly rhubarb crumbles as the crowns have gone into overdrive at the moment.

:) Now there's a thought. I shall give it a go when I freeze blackberries in a few weeks. Thank you.

Just been dgrotting the kitchen and the bathback can dry overnight as I don't want my mini-drawers on it if it is even slightly damp as they have metal frames and will rust/ mark up the paintwork.

Still have toiletries arrayed on the mat, but they can stay there until I am ready to re-load the drawers, which will probably be tomorrow after w*rk. One of the delights of living alone is that you can do things like that without annoying other people........:rotfl:

I picked 1.5kg of blackcurrants from 1 bush yesterday, picked most off the stems at the time & rinsed the cruddy debris off them. They have gone straight into the freezer to split the skins for viniculture when DH has diary space for the various processes:) The other 2 bushes will be picked on Tuesday.

I`ve got to do something productive indoors, out of the heat, so have decided to do paperwork in the, now tidy, study on the north side. I have started, put all the files on the desk, step one at least. I`ll just have a cup of coffee and will try not to procrastinate as I hate paperwork and the dreaded tax form. I want to get to bed tonight knowing that I have finished. I keep telling myself that it is never as bad as I anticipate

GQ, if it's not too fiddly, can you put clear nail varnish on the bits of the frame that actually touch the surround? I did this with a wire fruit bowl where the chrome had tarnished and was leaving marks on the windowsill where it lives
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Finally managed to get DH to get some things out of the garage for me to photograph and put up for sale. Not much in volume but quite expensive and surplus now. Don't want to leave them until they die in storage!!

I've been picking loganberries, blackberries, blackcurrants nearly every day. Remainder of gooseberries need to be picked today and I'll strip the blackcurrant bush as they're now beginning to drop off! My mini cucumbers have gone mad so need to offload to neighbours and my tomatoes are just beginning to ripen. Ive got two pots of blueberries and they're ripening too - hope I'll have enough freezer space!!

As I have a completely empty undercounter freezer and a half empty chest freezer and will soon have another empty undercounter freezer, are you sure you don't want to take one away? Will swap whatever you have excess of ;)
