The £26 cost does not include BT line rental.0 -
yeah cledor its Sky LLU'd, but im guessing TT is the better choice ( LLU'd at exchange aswell ) as line rental & BB is £16.39
so if sky is LLU my line rental goes to them surely not BT, but all i can find is the " does not include BT line rental " can anyone enlighten me ?
LLU for Sky broadband surely Sky want me to LLU calls rather than CPS to them over BT as that means I can get 18185 access etc and sky will not be making a good ( a penny ! ) revenue off my call pattern then ?SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Sky currently offer broadband only over their (Easynet) network.
So if they have their equipment in your exchange you will pay £0, £5, or £10 pm depending on which package you go for.
A one mix TV package costs £16 pm.
Telephony is still carried by BT, so you will still have to pay BT line rental, even if you take the Sky Talk offering.
Talk talk offer a combined broadband/telephony product so you only pay them, however you will not be able to change over to another ISP when you take their LLU telephone. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
ah ok, still id rather have my LLU sky broadband & not have to take a landline for calls - it will never be used for such, but i assume to have Sky LLU broadband i need to have a bt line - which makes no sense to me with regards to what LLU is all about - its unbundled why force me to take BT line rental then ?, need the landline for broadband onlySO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... If i change to Sky broadband and then decided a year down the line to swap back to BT for example will I have to pay the £124 reconnection fee? My exchange is unbundled for sky.0

I don't think the Sky package includes line rental, it's only covers broadband using Easynet LLU equipment, hence your BT landline connection & rental would remain as before.0
