Same here, a no spend day on a Saturday would have been unthinkable up until about a month ago!

Made a meal plan and have ingredients listed for tomorrow morning shopping. Have a few beers leftover from Xmas so think they'll be gone by the end of this evening!

    Cheers!

Hey :) I love how positive you sound. I'm a bit of a debbie downer so it's really refreshing finding people who are so upbeat. Well done on the phone sale. Definitely for the best! How is Star Trek: Discovery by the way? I've yet to start it.... I remember watching Star Trek with my parents when I was a kid and I've recently just re-watched The Next Generation. I just love it! Haven't given the new series a chance yet as I'm worried it'll disappoint.

Well done again on your progress

I'm just a very positive person. There's really no other way to be. I just keep doing a day at a time and see how I end up. Hopefully, by the end of this year anyway, I'll be debt free and have some savings :)

Star Trek: Discovery is pretty good. I think it is getting a lot of heat as people are comparing it to the original series with Kirk et al. I'm watching it as a 'stand alone' thing and making my own mind up.

Have you watched any episodes of The Orville? That's a great TNG clone with humour and drama in equal measure :)

  • Sunday is going pretty well. Another no-spend day, so far!

I'm just working my way through BBC's adaptations of J .K. Rowling's Cormoran Strike books. I have to say that I'm enjoying what I've seen so far. I'm eager for the release of their adaptation of the third book, at some point this year. She also needs to get working on a fourth book for the BBC to adapt!

I had a bit of a wander earlier; I'm fortunate to live near a beautiful quay area here in Exeter and it was beautiful. I keep meaning to get out more when I'm not working. I also need to make better use of my Odeon pass - that I'm locked into until November - to see more films too!

Very quiet one for me, I'm in the construction industry and January is typically the quietest month.

Hence plenty of time to dwell on both the current situation and the plan to resolve it!

I'm also aiming for an NSD today, good luck with yours!

  • So I got distracted in my journey for a little bit and added to my pile of debt. I'm sort of back where I was in January.

I've devised a plan that isn't so crippling on me and that will allow me to have some freedom with my spending.

    Here's to a new start!
