I went into a different exchange store and had them look over my phone. They gave me a price, subject to testing - £208, plus £7 for my case! £215 altogether. That would take my current Drafty balance down to just over £107!
Tonight has been pretty good. I've completed another couple of tasks for my course. I expect to finish the program by the end of next month but can't get the qualification until the payment plan is finished - I've planned to finish it by the end of April.
I'm just relaxing with a couple of TV episodes. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a particular favourite at the moment.Debt-free by January 1st, 2019.

Well done on selling your x-box. You’re doing really well, keep up the good work. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

Thanks. It's been tough and quite a sobering experience to realise that I was living beyond my means and it seemed a little hypocritical to keep stuff when I'm doing my best to get out of debt. I just want time to move faster than it is!Debt-free by January 1st, 2019.

Hope everything goes ok with the sale of the phone. I'm guessing it's not financially viable to have a new screen fitted? That the price of a screen wouldn't increase the value of the phone?
Your doing great by the way.You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Yeah, I have to remember that it's an experience and to enjoy the journey.
The price they're giving is only £20 less than if it was working - I suspect they have the means to replace the screen and then sell for a profit anyway.
I went through all my drawers and cupboards yesterday and have applied the '30 day' rule I picked up from 'The Minimalists' - the idea being that if I haven't used an item for 30 days, do I really need it? Conservative estimates, using CEX as a guide, would net me an additional £80. This could mean that I could nearly have Drafty paid off before I even get paid next week.
Otherwise, it's a great day and I've not spent anything, so far.Debt-free by January 1st, 2019.

Saturday is here and I intend to be productive. I already did some cleaning last night so today is all about my course.
Today will definitely be a no-spend day as I have no reason to go out and have everything I need at home!Debt-free by January 1st, 2019.

I've started to make a list of things to do/save for post-August 1st! It's quite fun to see the things you can actually afford to do when you don't have crippling debt to worry about!
Also just about to get myself up-to-date with Star Trek: Discovery. I'm two episodes behind with another one to air tomorrow night!Debt-free by January 1st, 2019.

Managed to get about 3k words done this afternoon. Definitely a good day, so far!
Looking forward to a bit of football on the TV in an hour or so. I'm not a City fan, but love to watch them play!Debt-free by January 1st, 2019.

So City won and it was quite the match to watch!
Cooked dinner; roasted chicken breast, on the bone, with mashed potato. I had a sponge pudding with custard for dessert. Not too shabby!
Watching Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets in a minute. I've read varying reviews about it, although I'm always one to make my own mind up. I read a few of the graphic novels relating to the story a while back and quite liked the concept.
Not much else to report on about today. The biggest success is that I haven't spent any moneyDebt-free by January 1st, 2019.
