Hi all,

I've been loyal to One2One/T-Mobile/EE but with my 10GB tariff @ £15 ending in March was considering switching to Three's £13 SIM only plan possibly and wanted to ask if the £60 cashback from Topcashback would be likely to work as well as being able to port my number across?
I've not changed providers since 1997 so unsure whether the above would work.

Why is your tariff ending in March? Were you given a fixed discount of some sort?

It was like a 12 month retention deal tariff. It's the first time I've gone sim only as well as normally would have a phone tariff. The tariff shows as being £23 a month so assumed would go up to that after the end of the 12 months?

If you don’t do anything it just keeps running on a 30 day basis.

Do you have an expiry date showing in the MyEE app?

To answer your question, the port shouldn't affect the cashback provided you do everything online via TCB. However, like Quidco Topcashback are quite dishonest and if a merchant doesn't pay they won't do much to help. When they pay it's fine; when they don't tough luck. I've stopped using them as a result.

Doesn't that just guarantee that you won't be paid? Can't see what you've got to lose by still going through them, unless you've found a better cashback provider[/QUOTE]

Another option is to go via mobilephonesdirect, they have a 12 month sim, 12G data, unlmtd mins and texts for £15 or £9 once cashback is paid out.

I'd rather miss out than line their pockets and encourage their dishonesty.

Are you suggesting both are pocketing this 'failed' cashback?
