I can't thank posts.

Sometimes this morning when I click the "Thank" button't it tells me I don't have sufficient privileges. Even when it works it reloads the whole page.

Something odd is happening. Opera browser, v49, 64 bit, in case that's relevant.

I think it's glitches in the system as there are other problems too.

The gap you leave between post has increased to 60 seconds (anti-spam measure I presume) and now when it does finally post I'm getting "This is a duplicate post, you will be directed to the thread" appearing.

Ooh, I just managed to "thank" you, but it reloaded the whole page again rather than just the little bit of javascript updating the number.

The same thing happens when using the tick function on the competitions forum. Seems to be an intermittent issue when I checked this evening.

I have tried to thank a few posts today and I get redirected to this message.

ScarletMarble, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I go back and the number of thanks remains the same.

Anyone know why this is?

I've had that issue when trying to remove thanks from posts, as per the thread I started here on the Site Feedback board a while back.

You would think MSE would have cottoned-on to the idea of a Board Feedback forum where technical issues could be discussed and maybe resolved...?

I'm also having trouble refreshing new posts. Tells me I have to wait 15 seconds, even though I'm not doing it frequently

On a positive note though, clicking the spam button seems to be deleting posts really quickly now
