Tum easing now, so had a bowl of fake weetabix for lunch

Dinner decided. It will be one of the YS mini pizzas I bought a bit back, for just such an occasion

And just in case I fancy a bit of comfort eating later, last 3 crumpets out of freezer & defrosting

Despite being dull and cold out, spot of mini gardening and pruned the plum tree. It's only a titchy one so not as arduous as it may sound. No sign of blossom on it again this year. I was hoping but it is only a young tree, 2016.

    Good evening everyone,

MTSTM, wort <<hugs>>, some days just seem to be much harder than others to cope with

Farway, glad your tum is easing

The sunshine was short lived and while I was eating my lunch it clouded over and got really cold & windy. It's stayed that way ever since so no gardening got done:(, I'd like to say I got on with other productive things instead but it would be a lie:o with my book & a snooze passing the afternoon. Thankfully the swelling on my nose & face hasn't got any worse so I'm hoping to avoid the scabby pumpkin look when I get up tomorrow:).

doh, I have been standing on my feet for hours, doesn`t half lead to backache, this standing still. My bread/cake drawer is almost empty and so is my bread bin. For last meal I had toastless celery/cashew soup, so I put some spelt pasta in, was fine. I have been busy using stuff and making blackcurrant pies and a big date and oat slice and a loaf. At least I won`t have to stand on my feet like that for a few weeks. Just as well as I feel that allotment time is upon me, ie would rather be out than in

I've gone with spuds, beans and cheese again .... it'll be ready to serve in about 8 minutes. It seemed easiest/most filling.

I really fancy sausage rolls, but am "holding off" for as long as possible. I've had over 70 this year already.

Not exactly :rotfl::rotfl:but on reckoning a bottle a week (6 glasses) average (some more/some much less) and we are 15/16 weeks into the year! Ouch actually that's nearer 100 :o:o:o

Evening, sorry some of you are having a bad day today hopefully things will improve for you all tomorrow

Caronc looking at that list it's just as well you don't have to pay for prescriptions, I think they are nearly £9 for each item here but thanks to my thyroid I have a medical exemption just as well as my last prescription had 4 items on. I wouldn't get on my soap box about it now as I haven't had a drink :rotfl: but it is one thing that does make me

Usual work day today busy as we are short staffed and it doesn't look like it will get better for a while at least when you're busy the day goes quicker :p

Lunch was vegetable chilli I split a portion in two for a couple of lunches but I'm not sure if I fancy it tomorrow I'll see what I feel like in the morning. Dinner was pork chop, mustard mash and veg.

And I'm counting nothing my loyalty cards do that for me ...... mmmm it may explain why my Waitrose card last year sent me vouchers off gin :D
