I have had a vegan cheese sandwich with wholemeal bread, vegan mayo and mustard. I've run out of cucumber.
I had crackers with PB, carrot sticks with salsa and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps for lunch. I had a bowl of red grapes afterwards.
I have leftover chilli rice and kidney beans for dinner. I am going to add the last of the frozen spinach to it when I heat it up later.

I started with citrus fruit salad (half a red grapefruit, half an orange, a clementine and a sprinkling of fresh mint) with yogurt for breakfast. Lunch will be a salad (mostly homemade coleslaw) and ham I cooked last week. Not sure this evening. Probably some kind of fish. I need to do a proper meal plan to both use up the contents of the veg box and make sure it lasts! I have a couple of plantains that I need to find something interesting to do with if anyone has any ideas!5

No sign of the LL, been out since 5pm Friday now, so that's two nights. Hoping for a 3rd ... then hoping that gets repeated Fri-Mon every weekend, although, without knowing when she'll be back there's no real "relaxation" from her absence as she could just appear.
Today I've already had: 1 noodle pot and 3 chocs (end of the bag).
Later I might knock up some instant mash, stuffing mix and instant onion gravy... who knows.
I had a quick tot up of my noodle pots, 11 here and 12 in the car boot. 2 pot rices.4 -
Good afternoon everyone
Welcome to CFO DireEmblem 👋
It's lovely and sunny here this afternoon though it was cloudy this morning and it's not as warm as it has been recently. Our family virtual get together yesterday evening was a good laugh, though I came last in the quiz. I'll blame the rather large pina colada I had before it. My son made them for us and he was a bit heavy handed with the rum!! This morning we took down and binned my ancient and very tatty wall baskets, I have replacements ordered though I'm not convinced I'll get them. My fences desperately need painting but it's hard to get the stuff at the moment. My shopping habits haven't really changed that much apart from buying more as there is two of us and it being harder to get delivery slots but my son who tended to buy fresh stuff in small amounts throughout the week is finding it odd just to pop into the SM on his way home from work.
Brunch was a tasty bacon and egg wrap followed by a naughty but very nice lemon curd muffin. There are four over ripe bananas needing used up so later we will bake a banana loaf with two of them and I'll mash and freeze the other two. Dinner is pork steaks, Jersey Royal spuds and tbc veg.5 -
Evening all
another quiet day here, but at least it was warm enough to sit in the garden until the pollen won 🤧 and my bedding got dried, I love putting line dried sheets back on the bed, they smell so nice 🌞🙂
Lunch was chicken salad using some of the watercress I brought yesterday, dinner was all LOs lamb meatballs with fennel, rice and purple sprouting broccoli. Tomorrow I'll use some of the LO roast pork, I have LO veg as well so it may be another roast dinner.

Well I will post some more, but have sort of started a plan for next week, well the first few days anyway.
I have 3 options for breakfast next week, averaging £1.14 a portion:- Quinoa Overnight Oats
- Chocolate and Banana Overnight Oats
- Berry Granola
I need to come up with more recipes, but definitely significantly cheaper than what I've been spending, and its food I like so not as if I would notice much change.5 -

I have lost a couple of pounds, not entirely sure why as my life seems to revolve around my next meal at the moment.
I just did another load of laundry, at least it is nice enough to let it dry on the airer outside.
I had a vegan cheese, tomato, mustard and mayo sandwich again and a packet of crisps.
I made onion and potato soup yesterday so that will be lunch. I have portioned out the red grapes into bowls so we can both eat a portion a day so I will have some of them too.2025 GOALS

, my DD also made an excellent looking one last week.
Trouble is these days flour & eggs are not readily replaced as I'm relying on ND and not wanting to weigh her down, plus SM availabilityI hate the thought of another binned wasted fail. In the meantime I'll just add softy bananas to my porridgeCooler day here, one highlight will be sweeping the patio area before rain arrives tomorrow, easier to do when it's dust & not mudLunch will be the use up LO roast beef in a sarnie, probably with mustard. Fresh loaf arrived via ND yesterdayDinner. I've defrosted a FR rump steak, one of my local posh ones. 250g so it's a biggun.Bashed and marinading now. I'll probably fry it have HM AF chips & couple of fried eggs with it.I could use some mushrooms or a wrinkly tom to grill & go with but none around, and I'm not using one the small but very expensive T*sco salad toms. Glad to have them but 75p for six little 'uns means I have to use in salads only

I mostly spend my days trawling for food I could cook .... at some future point when I have a home, equipment, kitchen, fridge, freezer, sink, worktop.....
So much food.... it wouldn't be possible to live long enough to cook all of it... even if things were only ever cooked for one meal.
I could go out for chips ... but I'll try to hold off until later in the week so it's a treat and not a daily norm.
I'll probably have today cup a soup & the final crust from the loaf + a noodle pot.
