Caronc have you thought of hiring out your services for application completion :rotfl: I'm sure you could get references from your son and nephew.

Horrible weather here, the local radio said it wasn't Brendan but 'a storm with no name' it was also full of roads closures due to floods and trees down, my sister texted to say tree down on my route home, so some decisions had to be made on the best way home when sitting in traffic on the way out of town. I hate driving in this weather. At least the mini greenhouse is staying put, wedged in but the emptied compost bin has travelled around the garden :)

PN do you think more houses will go on the market when people see what the end of the month will bring? Houses prices up here are pretty high to

Deka the advantage of a air fryer is not having to worry about the oil going off especially if you're CFO,

Lunch was LO vegetables and venison from the weekend, with some melon and pineapple. Dinner was just as easy :D gammon, egg and air fried chips using the last of the cooked new potatoes with a dollop of piccalilli on the side

Dunno. Now is supposed to be a busy time, but it's not turned out that way.... if they all wait until the end of the month there'll be a glut and not enough buyers....

They're best putting it on now..... before the rush starts. When people like me are sitting and waiting for one.

I don't know some snowflakes need someone to be 'honest' to them in prep for a interview :rotfl:

Pheww, what a noisy night, the storm with no name howled all night long here with over an inch of rain apparently. My only causalities are two pot grown tress have toppled over and are blocking the back door, as it's still raining they can stay that way for a bit;)

As a consequence of noisy night I had bit of a lay in and a late breakfast of porridge + banana
Bit early to think of lunch, but maybe an egg sarnie
Dinner, def CBA day, so it will a nuked frozen RM MFO, variety unknown as yet. Plus last of the apple crumble

    Good morning everyone,
Dry but very windy and bitterly cold here. I slept later than usual this morning so feel as though the day is getting away from me as all I have really done is have a shower and wash & dry my hair. Not that I have much planned for today apart from going over some more examples my son has sent over, tbh the persistent background "wonky donkey" is grinding me down a bit which always curbs my motivation. At least I'm clean & dressed if nothing else:cool:.
Poached egg and LO beans on a toasted muffin for lunch, dinner is tbc - my meal plan says freezer raid or pasta so I'll see what I fancy later.
  • It was really stormy here last night, something kept crashing around in the garden and it turned out to be the lid of a storage box blowing open. I had to weigh it down with something. I saw today that a neighbour's fence had blown down.

I had a vegan cheese and pickle sandwich for brunch.

I am going to cook properly later. Wholemeal penne with shop bought vegan pesto, pan fried tofu, steamed carrots and some type of greens. I think I have spinach in the freezer.:)

Oh dear CG, a fall is never good, plus left like a beetle unable to get back up. At least you had help & made it back indoors.

That's one reason I now carry a cheap PAYG mobile in my pocket, never know when it could be needed these days
Hope the bruising clears, I spent ages explaining how I was bruised & "No I'm fine now thanks"

Sun's out, but I'm leaving the tumbled trees for another day, no need to go out the back today

It was a fried egg sarnie for lunch, and could even be a repeat for dinner due to CBA & sole egg could do with using up

    Good evening everyone,

<<Big hugs>> CG a fall is always horrible, I hope the bruising and pain settle quickly. Like Farway I always have my mobile on me in case I fall and get stuck. I seldom have suitable pockets so mine is on a pouch that I attach to my bra strap so I don't accidently drop it - especially as thanks to my son's cast offs I now have a rather decent mobile.

It's blooming baltic here and still blowing a hooley - I'm well fed up of the stormy weather now! I've had a very lazy day lethargically thinking about doing stuff rather than getting anything much done. Hopefully I'll feel more motivated tomorrow. Keeping it simple tonight with veggie pasta using frozen spinach and fresh mushrooms cooked in some HM tom sauce from the freezer with some of the lovely parmesan o the top. Any LOs will cover lunch tomorrow
