  • Thanks both! Yes I had a much better sleep last night, and I am raring to go today.
I've complained about something that I bought in the black friday sale and then saw had been reduced boy £50 afterwards! Cheek! It actually hasn't been delivered so I might just cancel the order if they don't refund the difference.
I am going to try and do a few more annoying jobs today too!

Blimey. That’s a lot of money.
    Quite right to complain.

I'm still raring to go but....
Workmen here have ripped out the bathroom and the electrician has turned off electricity/wifi. No problem I'll just go into a school to work.
But then the kids got sent home from school, they have to isolate as the bus driver tested positive (he is fine, i've sent him a message).
Workmen have to go, I am trying to get wifi to work in a school - its not working - and I can't get any work done here, or at home, and I have to home school and work for 10 days. Sigh.
So to look for the positives:
The bathroom will eventually be done.
I can catch up with work later.
I can use the time to try to catch the kids up on the things I think they should be learning (times tables and the like).
    I can do this...
Time to resurrect the home learning blog!

My word, thats a lot of juggling!  Hope you can find a way forward that suits now that the children have been sent home.

15th December, but the boys have to isolate until the 17th. So I don't think it will be possible. So I've got round to thinking, what could I possibly use this time for, almost a whole month with very little going on, that's worth more than £3,000 to me? I'm thinking big!
Off the top of my head:
1, Massive declutter and organising an ebay pile and system for getting rid of it (when out of isolation, maybe I can schedule listings for after then) There is a skip in my drive anyway!
2, kids learning - get DS1 motivated, looking at possible amazing jobs if he works hard, get them working and learning important things, build confidence and self esteem.
3, Health - get fit  (even though I can't go to the pool which I love or actually leave the garden!) kick the sugar addiction (again)
    4, Fun family memories

Oh earthie!  The details of the system are so confusing, aren't they ... before it was cancelled, I did wonder about the *student* isolating before their visit, for your safety, but it sounds like a moot point now.  Though I don't see how you could have isolated yourself from your own children, they're still quite little in these terms, aren't they?

Loving the bounceback and thinking about how to use the time - I've certainly *tried* to do that with all the lockdown time.  Its not great, but its still better than it would otherwise have been, best of luck with the plan, I'm sure you'll do really well.
