Sorry to hear about work and your mum :(

While she might have her opinion on your children's behaviour she might needs to remember they are your children not hers. I've learnt to pretend I'm listening and secretly roll my eyes at some of my :o;)

Hope you get work sorted too.

Valentines meal sounds wonderful even more so at a cost of £5!

    Have a lovely weekend

    Yep, the apostrophes are general.

Earthgirl, sorry you've got the problem with your mum - your children sound *so* good!

Dropping judo - absolutely, since they don't enjoy it. Win-win :)

Thanks for the help with the apostophes!!

Yes I'm going to take onbaord some of my mums thinking- be more consistent and firm with the boys. They are generally well behaved but they spent quite a few rainy hours in my mums little house and the enevitable happened. Anyway my problem wasn't with her having a different opinion, but I just felt under attack personally. I think thats just how I am feeling in life at the moment.

I don't want to go into too much detail but I am definately having significant and health altering issues at work. I've decided to get it all organised in a notebook and speak to the union again next week.
Thinking of doing a timeline and organising the facts - who what when where and the proof I have in my notebook.

Boys happy playing with friends and I am stressing about this so its time to take action.

    Awww ... hugs to you.

Consistency ... yes, in general, the same with any boundaries - if they know what you want from them, they'll know where the line is, even if they ignore it sometimes!

xxx sorry about all the stress you're under.

Thanks karma! Im feeling so much better now I have written the latest things down. Still need to print off a few email etc at work and file.

OH tells me that his approach in meetings would be focus on the facts. I think that's how I am going to have to train myself to be.

So now I'm going to have a quick "get back on track" with the housework and exercise and household planning and then I have a cheap girls night to look forward to later :) at a friends house yippee!

Thanks I had a good day just doing whatever I wanted! Boys had a great day playing with friends. Nsd.

Today I managed to change all beds, dust, clean the bathrooms and put away the washing. I've planned out meals next week and I've took a booking for Airbnb for two nights in a few weeks. I've donevshop and scan and have £26 in amaz0n vouchers. A few strategies sorted out to help me next week and I've made hummus and sliced veg tonight to take to my friends. Off to recharge and relax x
