I agree it is impossible to find a phone number for them which is very strange in itself

I booked a holiday to Poland with them, had problems with the booking and they changed it with minimal fuss and was pleased with the experience (£145 per person including flights and 3 nights in a 5* hotel!!) :D

EDIT: Mmmmm - just reminising and thought i'd look up and see if they were still offering this deal, its gone up £50 by now (in 2 years) but well worth it (except we didnt fly from Stanstead we flew from Gatwick or Heathrow I think)!!

i used it last week to book 7 tickets to chessington theme park, and had no problems at all.
they were very descriptive and the booking was done with no problems. it was also cheaper then booking from the chessington world of adventures website aswell, this also accounts for alton towers and thorpe park: you get a larger discoutn from the lastminute.com website than you do from there official websites.

    would defilately book there again,
    well recommended,

3 friends and myself booked a week in New York via Lastminute.com. As it was my first time out of the country ever, I was very dubious!

But... We arrived at the car park at Heathrow, The barrier opened as promised. We got to the BA check in desk, we didn't even have to show the e-mail as she found the booking via our passports. We arrived at Newark and hit the first slight hiccup. We thought that the shuttle service that we had booked would be waiting at the airport. It took 10 minutes to work out what we had to do!. We were dropped off at the Hotel, the receptionist asked to see the e-mail. She then issued the keys. We then holidayed and enjoyed ourselves (you should see the size of the sandwiches at 'The stage deli'!!). At home time, the journey home was just as easy! All for £440 each!!

I would therefore totally and utterly use and recommend lastminute again!
