Freezing Tesco Mobile Pay Monthly

I am going abroad for 5-6 months this year and I am with Tesco Mobile. My 12 month fixed contract with Tesco mobile has ended but I still pay monthly for the use of the phone. Is there any way to freeze it while I am away and resume it when I'm back? Or is it better to cancel all together?

Get them to transfer the number to PAYG, if your trip goes past 6 months you can just do an online top up to reset the 6 months before they cancel your number.====0
