I know, I was quite shocked as I'd called the court yesterday to double check everything had been received. ELMS legal also responded to my email with the evidence bundle saying all received. The judge did look again and said she'd located them on whatever system she was using but as this was quite late on and she said her mind had already been made up, I was confident they wouldn't have made too much of a difference to her decision. 

I was also very lucky in that the judge I received confirmed that she deals with a lot of parking ticket claims so she was quite knowledgeable on what was going on.

I really fail to understand why the reps are so ill prepared. The rep in my hearing was frantically trying to find stuff on his computer. It reminded me of a spoof of NCIS (NCISOS) by a Black Country comedienne.

Yep, I'm so happy I stuck with it. So many friends told me to just pay it and move on but it's the principle! They're literally just exploiting people because they can. 

It was Deputy District Judge Watson at Leeds County Court.

Hahaha that's great. I honestly couldn't believe it, it's like mine had honestly given up before the case had even started. How embarrassing!

By the way, please stick around and make comments on the Government consultation when the new draft Code of Practice is published (imminent).  Come back and check next week if we have a thread about it and please read the new draft Code of practice carefully and object to anything in it that is not robust enough.  It is designed to rein in this rogue industry so make sure your voice is heard.
