Vodafone mistake on credit file

Hi,
Need some help with Vodafone, numerous issues here.
Basically I went into arrears in Oct 2015. Haven’t paid them anything since. Outstanding debt is £275.
On my noddle report I have red dots for arrears all the way upto Jan 2017 when all of a sudden they said account was OK and I was in the green. Then in July 2017 I went to missed payment 1 then 2 in August and then 6 missed payments in September! Finally default in October.
Something isn’t right here as I haven’t paid a penny or been in contact since 2015.
I’m trying to improve my credit file. Shall I pay them or contact them to discuss what is going on with their scoring?
Thank you.

Have you checked the other credit reference agencies (Equifax and Experian) to see what information they hold on you? That would give you an idea of where the fault lies.0

Why have you left it?
You know and admitted to owing it.
Pay it - either way it's going to stay on your files for 6 years0 -
The best you can hope for is that they add to your record the fact that you were also in arrears between Jan and July 2017.
You'd be far better dealing with the default.0
