at least buy her friend a drink - that's all i would want in return!

    : )

Give her nothing. its not in writing, there is no agreement between them. she won her friend didnt. I wouldnt give her a penny more than the cost of the tickets.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

She should split it. I agree with the unwritten rule principle, although in reality, its more likely you would have discussed it at some point in your bingo playing history.
In the completely different case that is in the news now, I and millions (thousands anyway) or other Scots law students are all shouting "She'll have to share!" There is, remarkably, legal precedent for a bingo winnings split being enforced by the court. [Robertson v Anderson 2003 SLT 235 if you have the interest/means]
    8. When you first saw me what was your impression? I thought you were quite 'up yourself'.. then when I got to know you I realised you are actually
    18. What is the best feature about me? you're blunt
    19. Am I shy or outgoing? neither.. you're just a brain that doesn't have emotions

A 50/50 split would be fair. After all, Trinny would never have won without Susannah's generosity.

If I were Trinny, I'd give Susannah £500, no quibbles. And buy her a coupla drinks!

Susannah can't really complain - she wouldn't really have been expecting to get anything back when she coughed up for Trinny's buy-in, and it was Trinny's fast eyes and dauber work which secured the cash..!! This also leaves Trinny with some extra to sort out her cashflow, to make sure she doesn't need Susannah's help to play bingo in the near future.

Trinny might want to pay for Susannah to play next time, too, as an extra little gesture, and to increase her odds of coming away with something.... unless Susannah decides not to split anything she wins... hee hee - tight cow..!!!
If I've made a grammatical error and you're pointing it out, I'd just like to say :T "Thanks" in advance. You big person, you ;)

Rule of Bingo Buddies - 50/50 always
  • definitely go 50/50 she would not have gone or been able to win without her
  • yes is the only logical answer to this question, because if she didn't her concience would bother her later, and of course it proves that SUSANNAH was a good friend in the first place as she wouldn't see her best friend miss out on their bingo night out and also show's that she would have shared her win with TRINNY because friendship means more to her than money,
even though her debts are a priority she should beleive that "A Giving Hand Always Gets" I know this to be true, as most things I want always come to me, and I share what I have, as I know that the motto above is my saviour, maybe more people should try it and the world would be a better place for us all.:A
  • If I was Susannah, I'd give Trinny the money back for the books then split the rest 50/50.
  • littleelle wouldn't like it if she was in that position it's nice to be nice as more rewards come to you that way.

    50/50 would be my offer

However if susannah was a real friend and knowing about the cashflow problems, she would most likely say to keep it
Trying to save but.... it seems to go..... :
