MMD: Should Trinny share her bingo winnings with Susannah?

There's a common theme appearing - maybe it's cultural...

Trinny should offer Susannah half - after all without Susannah she wouldn't have anything.

If I were Susannah, I wouldn't accept knowing how much the money would mean to her, and would negotiate down to a token (non-cash) amount, say a couple of drinks or a cheap meal as I wouldn't want Trinny to feel indebted.

One of the unwritten rules in bingo is that winnings are shared equally between all parties playing together, be it 2 people or 6 people (my other half works for Mecca Bingo)... so it should be half, no matter what the financial situation of each person.

This is quite an easy one.
Legally, the cards were a gift, and as such she has no Legal obligations.

Morally, she should probabyl offer her something, and usually this would be in the region of 50 50. However, if Susannah is a real friend then she will refuse half of the money. Taking her out for a meal and/or a few drinks sounds like an excellent idea, and one that should keep everyone happy. (Thanks to suzithefloozy for that one).

Definately Share it 50/50! her mate will probably not even accept half as she probably knows she's struggling but she has to at least offer and accept the fact if her mate takes half.

There is no question, of course Trinny should share her winnings with Susannah. Half would be the right thing to do! Afterall, without her friend Trinny would not have won.

I agree with the vast majority here - Trinny should split her winnings right down the middle - 50/50 - and thank Susannah most sincerely for generously buying her the tickets in the first place.

Give Susannah half. She's Trinny's best friend and benefactor. Next time, the boot could be on the other foot.

Trinny is struggling to make ends meet and has debts, she should not be gambling at bingo, she should share a cheaper activity or night in with Susannah. If she has been pressurised by Susannah to go to the bingo by Susannah saying she will treat here to a few of the bingo cards, she should drop Susannah as a friend.

definitely half each. Im sure that anyone who plays bingo would have an agreement before playing whether they were sharing or not. If someone had treat me then I would have said 50/50 at the start.
