Car Hire Tips Tenerife

Hello all - we are off to Tenerife in July and want some recommendations for car hire - we need to be able to pick up and drop off at the south airport. Have heard horror stories in the news recently so are after recommendations of good experiences.

Best tip you can possibly get, use Autoreisen or Cicar. Both no excess and reasonable prices, with fair fuel as standard. Don't bother with the big firms like Hertz or GoldCar, they're more expensive for less service.

I agree with OtB, that's the best tip to avoid queues, hassle and excessive cost.
