Hi folks,
We're off to Vegas at the beginning of July to celebrate my husband's 40th - we're Vegas veterans so I know a lot of the moneysaving tips (I think it will be my 10th trip ), but having a quick skim of the thread, I see someone mentioned that you get a free spin on the MLife wheel at the Luxor on your birthday - does anyone know of any other birthday treats he might be eligible for?
I've never been in July and am worried the heat will be unbearable, but we managed to get a stonkingly good deal on the Wraparound Terrace suite at the Cosmopolitan (our favourite Vegas hotel), so if worst comes to worst we can hang out there, enjoying the view.
One other thing - would anyone recommend the Neon Museum? We've done practically everything in Vegas but not this...
Thanks!0 -

There's also some non-specific casino things you can do such as signing up to the Earl of Sandwich newsletter gets you a free sandwich on (or around) your birthday.
Have a look here for more suggestions / ideas / discounts:

I think there's dedicated threads on other forums for casino's specifically (ie. the spin your wheel thing you mentioned), and I can't recall anything above and beyond this - though I'm sure there someone else here can!

Not sure if this information is still accurate, but 2 years ago I went up the Eiffel Tower free on my birthday. The view was better than expected.0

Its like going to see Slade ( who still tour) without Noddy Holder
Now I would love to see them with NH. But he has no reason to do it over again, he makes £500K a year in royalties.
Went to see the Stones last night, one more off my bucket list.
I just wish Paul Weller would get over himselfThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

Hi,
As I just celebrated my 50th in Vegas, I know that you can get a free Sprinkles cupcake (add app and they'll send you a code).
Any flavour, I can highly recommend the salted caramel.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Oh yes, I had forgotten about that one! He is terrified of heights but I'll give it a go persuading him0 -
