I'm saving and investing with no specific purpose in mind at the moment. If I can afford a holiday from the increase in capital value I make this year, that would work for me in the short run I guess!

I'm saving for my first house!!

Currently at Uni, putting my student loan in an cash ISA. Aiming to have £12k at the end (I am at uni for 3 years + a placement, so thats 3x£3k, plus hopefully, £3k from placement, not entirely sure how much you get for placements though).

All the interest goes into a savings account which I have a resonable rate. This savings account also collects any extra money I have from jobs etc. and cannot go in the ISA. Hopefully this will build up over the next few years :):):)

The savings account will be the deposit for a house, hoping for a minimum of £10k.

Keep the ISA for tax free savings.
