  • Oh yeah, from a pure SB perspective I know that makes sense.

With that said however, I'm still going to be irritated if I don't get a 4 SB win tomorrow...

How [STRIKE]swagbucks[/STRIKE] bizarre, they along with John Lewis and Argos were not there earlier, this post was the only reason I looked

I don't know what you're all on about- all the UK stores are still there. I think whoever told you that must have clicked into US gift cards only.

According to the oracle of all sources - Swagbucks is worth around $54m - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swagbucks

And its parent company has 3 other similar sites it seems!

I agree with the balance, ultimately its nice to cash out slightly larger sums, it feels like it makes more of a difference as a fiver goes very quickly but I wouldnt ever let it linger in there too long. Its always better in your hands then in theirs!!

Ah Wikipedia - you do know what that stands for don't you? 'What I Know Is' encyclopaedia. The most unreliable source that ever existed and never to be quoted.

There is virtually no information on how much Swagbucks is worth, other than their own reports which are obviously also not reliable. They also helpfully gloss over worth and just cite how much money goes through their site or has been redeemed. They are as vulnerable to going under at any moment, as any of the big retailers are. They rely on taking a cut, they are a middle man. They have no USP and everyone know retail is not the way forwards.

I looked and it was the UK giftcard page, everything that was there was priced in £ but as already noted they have been back for sometime now.

I find myself in the unusual position of being upset with a 18 SB search win because I want a 4 SB win!

I wish it were possible to keep multiples and swap them with other users, would make the event a lot more fun and interactive instead of just based on a mixture of luck and how much free time you have to dedicate to searches.

I've only got the Valentine's card, so no hope for me getting a full set :rotfl:

Also, even though enrageme.tv is clicking round nicely with ads it hasn't credited or marked off my to do list. I'll try again and fingers crossed it will (eventually).

    ETA: Credited 2nd time around.
    Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037
    Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)
    Surveys ~ £158.69 (2024 ~ £280.14)
    Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)
  • For those who are curious: after 2 search wins today and no roses I was resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to complete my set, and then on my 3rd and final win for today...

    Chuffed about that :)
