I'm declaring further 6 items made - more tile coasters ready for my craft fair this Saturday

So my total currently stands at 234/700 - I'm 33% towards my target

You are right craftingmad I had a look last night in my stash for anything I could use for my Easter card and I have a few thing I could use.


What sort of tile coasters have you made? I did try to make some scrabble coasters last year but they didn't look very good as the letters didn't line up.

Not sure I have a target number of makes in mind, I lost my mojo after Christmas as was poorly and it's only just started to come back!

I'm mid way through my first project, started last weekend.

Hi Deb4,

Glad you found some things in your stash for those Easter cards

I've tried scrabble tile coasters before as well and it is so hard to get the tiles to line up straight. I also found they looked a bit naff once I had put on a cork backing but I did sell a couple so hopefully were not as bad as I thought (either that the buyers took pity on my crafting abilities!)

The tile coasters I have made use a normal small wall tile, pretty papers, modge podge and a clear varnish to seal them. I sold three at the craft fair yesterday so will definitely be making some more I think.

I had a bit a of making frenzy Friday night as thought I might need more stock for my craft fair of the year (as it turns out I didn't as I hardly sold anything) so am declaring a further 59 makes. These include beaded angel keyrings, more bags of love, friendship seeds, easter sweet pouches and some pocket mirrors.

That now takes my total up to 293/700 items - I'm 41% towards my target (can you tell I love working in percentages to keep motivated)

Beast from the East brought us a new granddaughter on March 2nd so I have been busy admiring her!
I didn't realise, what with the snow and the excitement I hadn't even posted February makes, so here they are!

Morning

made 4 Easter cards which I enjoyed doing and they went down very well next on my list is two birthday cards for mid/end of May.

I know I have things that I can use up to make these, I am off for a week so will get started on them then

Morning all
Wow you've all been busy.
I've finally got off the blocks and used some stash.
I finished the crochet blanket for a homeless person and have made 50 beads of courage bags for the local children's oncology Ward, I'll get the final drawstrings added tonight
All from the stash cupboard so I'm really pleased and Ive started another crochet homeless blanket and another crossstitch.

Total makes from stash so far 52

Well I finally have a password back on my phone now.

I have been bad today and have picked up some crafty bits. I went to a craft fayre as well as some things at car boot sales. I have high hopes that I will get these used ASAP. Haha.

I have serious plans for these things. I just need a month to be able to actually implement them.
