Yonks' ago Morrisons took over Safeway, I think Somerfield were taken over by the Co-op! A small supermarket, they do have a loyalty card, but as I buy so little there - I don't have one.

OTOH I've not come across a Morrisons that doesn't have fuel and a caf!! Cardiff have three, nearby Barry another.

Yes, that was the problem - we already had a Co-op so they must have sold the Finefare / Somerfield to Morrisons.

At the time of the takeover M. bought the derelict Lincs bus co. depot garage behind the store and told the 'new' staff that they might turn that into a filling station in the future.......but it never happened. M. petrol station is a mere 15 miles away!The depot was dismantled and the space has become a staff car park!!

It is a small store and simple can not accommodate a wide range of stock- as I said 2 trolleys in the aisle and no-one can pass.
Ha, this is a rural market town- does not equate with a capital city!!!!

I have discovered that trips to the bottle bank sited in the car park produces a lot of almost new bags for life, even M. strong shoppers dumped in the bin. These are released into my care.......

going to join in but never successful with these things. I work in morries so wouldn't womble from there and the other 2 -asda/Tesco appear to be super tidy!! Had a thought even if receipts not good for price gurantee i can get points from shoppix/receipt hog plus the price draw thing that some apps have for receipts - i don't buy everyday and wouldn't use up all my entrys otherwise. anyway off to womble and yellow sticker shop x
