Thank you all!  It's exactly what Squirrel describes, a plain purchase that uses my own fabrics and accessories to colour it up.  And I can't even begin to think how long it took my mum to do that square on the top right - everything has to be within a millimetre or so tolerance.  So many memories in all those fabrics.

    Just a few notes:

    - a card through the door from Morrisonds, who have 92% one star reviews on Trustpilot!  So they're never coming in my house, whether my utility supplier wants them to or not.  I've submitted today's meter readings to the supplier (nothing is going on the Morrisond website, the reviews are horrendous!) and I've written an email/private message to said supplier, but there's no way to send it.  I'll keep it, if I get more schtick I'll adapt it and send it as a letter.

    - just done a YG survey - 180 points to go 😁

    - swept the alcove on t'other side of my fireplace, good grief 👀 dustbunnies with fangs, all the way.  Needs a clean, so I've left it clear, but not doing that today, I'm off out for the afternoon.

    It's beautiful out there!

PS - I've booked my first driving lesson!  The morning of June 12th.

Thanks all!  Yep, I love the multicoloured look, but if it's chosen for you, as opposed to something you build up for yourself, it's not so good.  I'm also glad I didn't buy a second set of covers - they're *so* tight, I can't see the seat ones lasting, not at all - when they go, I'll cover them with fabric of my own, held together with velcro, I'm sure the structure will still be fine.

So today, an admin morning, I think.  Radio is on via the tv, to drown out the noise of the barking, I check every so often because I prefer silence sometimes.  But what to do:

    - French tax form, has to be done by 1st July, it's time.
    - fill in government's "driving licence share" page, so the instructor can see it.
    - draft an email to the instructor, explaining the situation and what I want.
    - start the money shuffle.
    - delay my Asda shop from this Wednesday to next Wednesday.
    - one of my building societies is offering the 9% p.a. savings - I was accepted over the weekend, now I need to send the money.

Practically, there are a few tasks as well:
    - I need to search for a bottle of lemon juice: recipe for rhubarb chutney needs a lemon.
    - beans soaked overnight need to be cooked.  Chuck some dehydrated veg in there?
    - wipe down alcove walls with vinegar.  We'll see how that works out!
    - bathroom sink has completely seized up 👀 must sort that.

My foxes are lolling about in the garden as I speak, resting on the cardboard, it must be nice and warm 🦊🦊
