My reading is fine thank you. Please explain how you bought a device that was discontinued in 2015 or at the latest 2016, in 2017 with a warranty.

Clearly it is not, I suggest you read that element again.

Being obtuse just makes it look like you are hiding something. I'm out.

It doesnt at all, the information is there yet you are trying to interpret it into something else.

I'm confused. You've entitled this thread "Apple Warranty issue" and a couple of posters have asked where you bought it from in July 2017 to have a warranty on a phone discontinued some time ago. (Have I "read" that correctly? I know you didn't say July "2017" in your OP, but that is the clear implication).

You then seem to be saying it's not a warranty issue, but something like a bailment issue. (Have I read that correctly - just checking to be sure?).

Have you described this thread wrongly, and it's not a warranty issue? You're just not being clear (or at least I think that's what some other posters are suggesting).

The OP brought the phone in July 2017 for repair under warranty, but I agree he could have been less argumentative with those who misunderstood.
