HELP: "Wifi Ready" Smart TV

Hi
I have a Samsung 2012 WiFi ready (i.e. it needs LAN cable to use internet OR WiFi dongle) smart TV. I have been using LAN cable so far to use internet on this so called smart TV.
I now have my TV away from my router, therefore am unable to use internet at the moment. To add to it; Samsung has uninstalled YouTube from my TV as they cant support it. Therefore am planning to buy an Android Box.
Here is my question; Do I have to buy both Dongle and Android box to get internet (Dongle) and YouTube (Android box) OR can I just buy the Android box alone which will connect to my WiFi and the Android box can be wired to my TV.
Any suggestions.
Thanks.

Assuming the box and TV have the same AV connections just the box should work OK.0

What you call an Android box usually has Ethernet port and a hdmi port to tv .0
