Have you actually spoken to the supplier of the fridge freezer at all? They are the ones who your contract is with, whether the kitchen company supplied it or you bought it from a shop.

No. My contact with the FF has been with the manufacturer. We couldn't get any engineers locally to come out and look it which is why we went to them and they offered the £150 service.

Did you test this? Perhaps that's why they fell down? :D

That'll be some of this renowned Scouse wit I've been told about!

I think the Kitchen Co people install in Liverpool....best look out!

Being serious, we have other wall mounted units in the kitchen. When the Kitchen Co people come round to fix I'll be asking them to test those unit.

The manufacturer owed you nothing, your consumer rights were with the retailer under the Sale Of Goods Act (assuming the purchase was before October 2015. So to get any offer from the manufacturer at this point is a bonus.
