Wow Rainbow - you really are motoring on! Well done you.
The tiler finished on Tuesday and the floor looks lovely. Guess what - I'm dusting again!! I bought new lights yesterday, the skirtings have to go on, the new radiator & the curtains. Once that's done I intend to put the Christmas tree in the bay window.
Not sure what I can claim on the MMM front apart from the dust and the freezer though!

    Good morning.....me again....

Make do My old Cath Kidston wellies have started to split and crumble, so I cut off the legs, and I now Have slip on shoes for popping down to the hens in the wet! (It may not work!).

Mend Converted a battery operated Xmas star to mains lighting. Used my new Dremel toy.

Minimise DH brought home some bags of salad and tomatoes minimised from the fridge at work. The hens will be very happy with the salad, but I have roasted the tomatoes in olive oil and vinegar. Yum! He says the young ones at work are so risk adverse they do not trust anything past it's date  They have not been taught to trust their eyes and noses :rotfl:

    MMMing onwards :j

    Afternoon,

Make do I have been ill with flu and we have been able to make do with meals from the freezer and the cupboards. :j

Mend I have found a pre printed fabric pattern for a Christmas Waistcoat which will never be made, or worn. I have made it into a Christmas apron using a crazy patchwork technique. It was very festive making last nights meal.

Minimise Used up the last of a bag of potatoes and mince from the freezer to make cottage pie. :)

    MMMing onwards :j

    Good Morning,

Make do Put up a temporary washing line in the utility room. May as well make use of the space until the builders are back after the hols :D

Mend I have made a draught excluder for the door in the utility room. There is a gap at the bottom of the door now the builders have taken up the floor. Draught mended :j

Minimise DH has sorted out trousers and shirts he no longer wears. Will CS or EBay.

Aiming to make it an MMM day, every day until I go back to work.

    Thursday

    Make do LO for lunch.

Mend I bought a dress on EBay, but the fabric was very thin. I have unpicked the back seam, and will turn it into a craft apron.

Minimise Washed the kitchen floor and moved some clutter to the cellar, utility and the bin. Just need to decide what can be moved into the space to make the kitchen more ergonomic.

    Good night :)
  • I am at Dds unti Sunday then home after about 10 days away from home I am going to see how long I can go without shopping into January as I have so much stuff and will be going home with lots of leftovers as well.
Definitely a make do with existing stuff as much as possible.

I have a few mending jobs to do as well when I get home, sewing some bobbles on my slipper boots that have come adrift, plus refitting the loo roll holder in the bathroom as its well overdue a refit :) Silly jobs really that won't take long but are on my to-do list
and a certain minimise of paper clutter in my study(read small back bedroom ) My book stash need decluttering as well so I will have plenty to do next week:):):)

Nice pile of MMM's slowly building up!
Need to make do and minimise the food stocks in the fridge
The zip on my fleece has broken - it's only the tab hat you pull the zip up with but the zip is halfway up and won't move back down so I'll have to replace the whole zip. Got a few other mending jobs too.
Dining room skirting has been replaced now so needs repainting & then I've got to think how, where & what furniture to put in there as it's been knocked through to the kitchen/breakfast room. I'll take it slowly though
