Max Recovery and Incorrect Default Date

I've been in touch with the original creditor MBNA who is recording a default date of 1st June 2012.
However, when obtaining my Experian £2 report end of last year, Max Recovery (who bought the debt off MBNA) are recording a different date of the 3rd August 2012.
I have raised a dispute with the CRA dn provided evidence of the default date being 1st June 2012 as I have a letter from MBNA confirming the June date to be correct.
So, my question is this, if Max Recovery continue to record an incorrect default date of 3rd August 2012, where do I stand please!?

I'd imagine any compo you might get won't even cover the £2 cost of your Experian report.0

It was answered to death on the linked thread last time you asked the exact same question.
You just do not like the answers you got as it doesn’t involve a payout from a company that you owe a lot of money to....0 -
I suggest you use your old thread.
And telling people to "get lost" will only get you reported and your posts removed0 -

I've just checked and I've never replied to a single thread you've posted (except this one). You've clearly mixed me up with somebody else.
Anyway, what is the big deal about having the default on your record for an extra 2 months and 2 days?0 -

I refer back to my comment about not liking the responses that you have received.
I also refer you back to my previous comment about using your support workers or ringing out of hours Social Services0 -
Deja Vu!!!!
I thought, oh this is an old thread, has there been a new reply ... then I realised nope it's a new thread, just repeating the same topic.“The Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”0 -
Mr Witless can you just answer one question please?
Did you default with MBNA - please just yes or no, not bothered about the dates just yet?0 -

Please stop raising new threads for the same rehashed questions. And stop reporting people for an answer you don’t like and telling people to get lost. Nobody has broken any forum rules. This is a public forum and as long as they remain within forum rules anyone can post here in any thread they want to.
To answer the question. If you have proof of a default date from the original creditor and can 100% prove they are the same debt the you can write to Max Recovery enclosing a copy of said proof and ask them to change it and update the CRAs. Bear in mind most organisations update CRAs monthly or 6 weekly, it may take 2 months from acknowledgement to update.
If they refuse, then write again giving them one more chance before you go to the ICO.
Do not threaten the CRAs as they can only process information given to them by creditors.2.88 kWp System, SE Facing, 30 Degree Pitch, 12 x 240W Conergy Panels, Samil Solar River Inverter, Havant, Hampshire. Installed July 2012, acquired by me on purchase of house in August 20170
