Pleased to hear you had a good evening Rose. Great for you all.
Alfie sunny here but not much dawn chorus. Pleased all is well in your world.
Took it slowly yesterday but managed to cut grass. So jungle looks a bit better but still overgrown. At least I can take GS out there later today.
Hope everyone has a restful day.0 -

Morning,
Hope everyone enjoys their sunshine. We have heating on and the fog is just clearing to show our clouds which are here for the day!
Our weather has been dreadful here so far which is unusual as although we get lots of rain we usually get sun too!
Would like to get our grass cut too leanfun but it just doesn't seem dry enough.
Must get on.

Leanfun..love forget-me-nots , I have a garden full of ox eye daisys..I only planted them down on side 6 or 8 seeds is now a garden full..oh well very pretty , allhough have to be a tad mean sometimes as they take over!
Rose really pleased you had a good time out, times like that are worth all the pain and fuss , but it's those memories that bind us. Take care sweetie sounds like you have a lovely family x
Alfie so lovley to wake up to the dawn corus and sunshine..I keep thinking it's late about 9.30 but it's 6.30 lol.
Naked gardening day humm. I have a confession. One of my past jobs was a barmaid , the pub also had a nuddist club out the back (seperate bars ..I was asked if I was ok serving both ..I'm game and open-minded Plus the bar covered the lower half and having worked in care homes for elderly It's not anything I haven't seen before!)
Funniest things that happened whilst I worked there. My boyfriend of the time was a fencer. He helped the landlord put up a barbwire fence. Landlord turned up naked..bf didn't know he was a naturist , all he could think to say was "Are you not going to put some gloves on at least?"
And another time a gentleman get thrown out of the naturist club as he had a few umm personal peircings and that was deemed a step to far ..apparently you can be a naturist as long as you don't draw attention to your privates??
Anyway that's enough reflection on that matter. I have to tidy up a lot today, had a t-party for sons birthday which wasn't worth it as after 5 mins he went off to play with his new games console as his friend turned up..bad timing grrr. At least myself and mother had fun..but the looks like a party has exploded! I even cut the crusts of the sarnies to give it a posh feel. I tell you next time it's just a pizza take out!!
Have a good one all, hope to get some comping in today too, must crack on spent an hour in bed reading . was bliss. Love to allCompers challenge 27/70

:hello: Good morning & happy May Day to all!
It's yet another glorious day hereand apparently
may reach up to 28 degrees in various parts. I'll be sitting in
front of my fan later to cool myself down!
However .... through the week we'll see the return of normal
weather & temperatures for this time of year - so I'm guessing
they're talking showers etc!
Just come in from the garden and must admit, the ground
could do with a bit of the wet stuff now to freshen it up a
bit.mummy2threeboys wrote: »Naked gardening day humm. I have a confession. Lol at your fencer boyfriend when the landlord turned up
naked to help erect a barbed wire fence mummy2!
I also don't know how people deal with the pain of having
their private parts pierced. _pale_ It makes my eyes water just
thinking about the pain!
I'm the same as you on the subject - I'm fairly open-minded
about people baring all but your piece re the landlord & the
fence was sooo funny! Just goes to show - there are some
situations where it really would be better to be more
appropriately dressed/better protected! :rotfl::rotfl:
Must be time for a cuppa me thinks. Have a lovely Bank
Holiday all and please take care whatever your plans.
