Sorry I didn't post yesterday. It was a busy day. I started off well following my list, and was roughly on time but I got a call from School and had to close the shop.
Dgd had an accident in the playground and has hurt both of her hands, removed a large patch of skin which had a lot of playground embedded in it, and hurt a finger on her right hand, so off to the local doctor, sit for an hour and a half to be sent to A&E.
Needless to say it was an unpleasant experience (with a violent man in the treatment room). Luckily after an X-ray it was established the finger is not broken. Unluckily getting half the playground out of the cuts was painful and Dgd was very brave, and kept apologiesing for crying. I wish I could have done more for her but after we came home she had paracetamol and two mini ice cream lollies!
I then spent until 11pm doing the sewing jobs I brought home. So at least today I will still be on target, although I have my own Doctors appointment at 10am. So Seamstress is going to have to work on her own for an hour.
Let's hope for a better day today.
On the plus side the £359 for that huge stage curtain is in the bank. Just in time for the next lot of bills.

Dgd is currently hard work! Back to morning battles before school.
Staff and I worked well yesterday, I had to open up and then pop to the doctor. I have to go back Friday for a blood test after 12 hours fasting.
When I got back to work it was head down and following my planner as best I could. I was pleased to have ticked off all the jobs, except one I am waiting for the zip, and even started some of Thursdays jobs.
The last fitting was at 5pm a beautiful prom dress. But it is white so it looks like a wedding dress to me!!
Today is going to be housework then off to take Mum out.

I don't want to put two and two together and make five, but as a child who was bullied throughout my school life, the thought popped into my head that DGD's injury and the subsequent morning battle to get to her to school might be linked? I tried most morning to dawdle, be (physically) sick, cry...anything to avoid going, really, and thus avoid the bullies.
Just a (possibly) way off beam thought, as I say.
It aint over til I've done singing....

I will investigate all possibilities with Dgd.
At the hospital she told the doctor she likes school though.
We went to MK where I got some cheap shoes in SZ. They should get me through the summer.
We had lunch in a garden centre on the way home.

I have been doing my accounts this evening.

I am awake far too early! I woke needing the loo at 5.50 BFs alarm went off at 6.05 so I am just too awake to go back to sleep now.
When I was in Aldi on Sunday I bought a new suitcase with 4 wheels, as the inside of one of mine got damaged during one of my last trips. I have it currently sitting in the doorway of the spare room and BF saw it and made a strange comment about my going away then. "So you are going somewhere then?" We'll not anytime soon but with Aldi you have to buy it when you see it or it won't be there, and as far as I know I will probably be going away at Christmas but no I don't have any plans at the moment. I had booked two weeks in the diary in end August that he asked me to do last year while Dgd is at her Mum's but he then didn't book because I cannot afford it at the moment. I don't expect him to pay for me, although he had last year, when I offered to pay him back he didn't take it, just let me use my money for the spending money when we went shopping or to restaurants. Anyway I am not plotting anything behind his back, even though I might be tempted too!
Time for tea, and then get my self out of bed and ready for work.
I am definitely feeling restless though!!
