I have 16 cut out, and I sewed 6 before BF arrived, then served up tea. I couldn't be bothered to get back to the sewing machine after dinner.
At some stage today I will go back to work to put the tape and hooks on the stage curtains and then it's done and can be collected when the school reopens.
We have two bridesmaids dresses and a wedding dress that my seamstress can tackle tomorrow. I will tackle the curtains and blinds that need alterations done.
I won't be taking on any more new makes of curtains and blinds I think that the heavy work load is not doing my body any good.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Bf helped me with the curtain. It took us two hours to do it. I couldn't have done it on my own it was so big and heavy. It was still an effort for me.
The school uniform is in the washing machine and I don't intend to do anything else for the next few hours as my arm/neck/shoulder and hand on my left side are letting me know that they are not happy.

It seems you're less stressed Mooloo taking each day as it comes . I'm pleased you've decided to drop curtains and blinds . I've wondered how you were managing them . They've caused so much pain it's worth letting them go .
Wishing you another positive week and sending warm wishes to yourself and Biggest , hope things pick up for her .

He is a strange person at times, this week he has been much more thoughtful than he had appeared of late.
On Saturday morning he made me tea and toast before work. He even offered to help me out with the heavy stuff if I needed to during the week.
I still have the last set of blinds to do today and two sets of curtains for lining that we already have in the system.
I may have to take him up on that.

I enjoyed sewing little coin purses during the evening and have a feeling that I might be making more with my scraps when I get more zips

Perhaps focusing on one day at a time is lowering your stress levels Mooloo and BF can see you focusing on the now rather many things that may or may nor happen . Whatever it is I'm pleased he's being supportive and helping with things he can .

I didn't get to the post office today as I was waiting for the blinds to arrive! They were due in at 9.30 but didn't arrive until 2pm. So I was doing odd jobs and jumping up every time the door went.
I am already in bed, shattered. My friend came round at 6.30 for tea and didn't leave until 8.50. The jobs will have to wait until tomorrow now!
