I’ve emailed the CEO of virgin media twice now and still no one has dealt with my complaint.
I was due to have broadband and tv installed on the 21st Dec 2017. However, on the 18th Dec 2 engineers turned up to my property and started work without anyone home. They dug up my drive way, installed the wires and box to the front of my property. As they were about to leave my wife turned up from shopping and confronted the guys. They didn’t give any response and just left.
I was absolutely shocked that this happened. I didn’t want the wires leading in from my front room, I wanted the wires to be installed through my garage and through my hall way!
Does anyone know how to get this sorted? The customer service team is absolutely shocking. I’ve been hung up on 3-4 times and passed about within different teams!

A pre install team turning up before the actual appointment to provide the 'cable' from the VM cabinet , to a terminating box on the outside of your home, in readiness for the installer to finish off the install on the allocated date isn't unusual ( at least that's how my VM broadband service was installed), presumably someone didn't turn up on the 21st ( possibly because of your complaint ) to complete.
A friend who has VM wanted the VM external box located on the side of his house was told by the installers that he couldn't pick where it went and it was located pretty much on the house wall opposite the access point in the pavement ,( so the shortest possible cable route) in my case they located it on the side of the house (at my request) but the cable run was no longer than if it was going on the front of the house.
I recon if what you want isn't going to increase the work or time needed, they will do as requested, but if it will increase the amount of work or time needed, they will pretty much put it where it suits them (not you) and in your case no one was home to initially agree or disagree with the location , getting it moved after the event may prove difficult to say the least0
