Have had bad news on a close family member's health.
So everything else just seems just so bleeping pointless.
Does the fact that I am a little overweight matter.
Not at the moment, not in the slightest.

Never viewed labour as body magic before :rotfl:

As my Mum used to say 'They don't call it labour for nothing'! (Sorry Topgirl:rotfl:. Hope all goes well for you.) Certainly the hardest I've ever worked...So pleased to hear your good news Kathryn - keep as far as you can from the poorlies - they should all be better in time to look after you.

Brilliant losses ladies (are we all ladies??), there'll be stiff competition for SOTW next week!fingers crossed I can join you all when I weigh in on Friday.

I've had a funny few days - very hungry for no apparent reason, and demolished a pack of chocolate digestives over the weekend. I know I have no self control around chocolate but DD had asked for them, then decided she didn't want them. Other than that I've eaten well and syns would have been well within the allowance. Hey ho, they're gone now so normal service resumed as of today!

So sorry Beanie. Sometimes there are more important things going on for us x

Sorry to hear this. It is important to do what makes you happy, whether this is spending time with a loved one or having a sofa day at this hard time.

We will be here to support you in whatever helps (obv. nothing terribly illegal... semi rough is okay)...x

Hugs Beanie. Definitely get what you're saying about everything else seeming pointless. In comparison it isn't important, and it isn't what you need to be concentrating your time on. Concentrate on your family member.

  • Morning all

Just a quickie as I'm out of the door...

Beanie sorry to hear your news. kathrynha, glad to hear yours. Congrats to ruby on the 5lb. Impressive!

Fell off the wagon a little last night. 3 M&S chocs from a box (two coffee and a lemon if anyone is interested :-) As I'd already had 10 syns I think I safely say that pushed me over 15. Ah well. Onwards and upwards.

    Today:

    B - Overnight oats
L - LO bolognese and pasta
D - SW Chicken saag and rice
    S - Fruit

    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Oats

    Have a good day.

You lot seem to think I overdo things and won't take it easy when I'm told. I'm a good girl and always do as I'm told :A:whistle:

Weigh in day for me today. Not going to be good after the weekend I've had, but I'm going, and finding out the damage

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - porridge and fruit
    Lunch - salad
    Dinner - noodles

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - oats
    Syns - salad dressing (1)

Hugs and hope to those in need. Take care xxx

OK, back on plan. So menu for today:-

BF Porridge (HEA/HEB) made with 250ml ss milk and added granulated sweetener
    Snack Banana
Lunch HM BNS soup and salad (all free) raspberries and fat free greek style yogurt
Tea: Heck sausage squares (bought these on clearance and not sure why!) with ready made mash and veggies. Will calculate the syns in them later. Since it has only been myself and MRM at home we buy ready made mash as potatoes only go to waste although now that I'm into batch cooking soup this may change.

Want to be on plan with minimal syn spendage until weekend as we are taking Emma back to Uni in Newcastle and staying over. Will be eating out on Saturday night - likely to go to a Spanish restaurant we like so am looking for minimum syn type tapas recommendations. Of course, wine will be drunk as well.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I do a big pan of mashed potatoes and freeze it in portions.
For Christmas, I do a couple of ice cream scoops, 1 each, as we have so much other veg.
    Handy to have in.
And you know exactly what's in it. :)
