    Well done on the loss.

I'm not actually in that much pain from the kidneys or operation. Just a bit bruised and achey.

I'm on the pain relief because I was in a lot of pain during my treatment. Problem is I am now addicted to it, and need to get off it. The withdrawal symptoms do include pain, but there is nothing I can take for it. Just have to endure it. They could do the reduction slower, but that will just make me suffer for even longer, so I really don't want that, so will cope with it if I can.

Ah ok fair enough. If it gets too much though I'd Deffo ask for it taking longer to be reduced.

Going to try to cope, but am aware that it might not be possible. I am quite stubborn and determined though :)

Having had quorn sausages before, that explains it :rotfl:
I read some reviews of vegan /veggie food last week and it was scathing of LM sausages, said they taste like Paxo. I thought that's good as I use them to make stuffing balls!

Good luck with coming off the pain killers. I can understand why you want to get it over with PDQ but be kind to yourself.

Called in for milk in the Co-op earlier. Some good YS bargains: chicken pieces, 5% mince and best of all smoked salmon.
I don't think I'll be trying broghies as I don't like prawn crackers. I like melba toast as a low syn cracker.

You and me both! But I'll be happy with a 1/2lb this week as it will take me back to top end of target range and won't have to pay next week when I'm on holiday or book a holiday week!

I've used the Linda Mc sausages as stuffing balls before and they turned out OK. I also use them when I make scotch eggs (needs 2 per egg if they're large! so only 3 scotch eggs to a pack).

Melba toasts are 1/2 syn each. I've made them myself though using HEB crustless bread which makes 24 triangles so plenty to use to use with a dip. Suppose they could be used to scoop up a saucy curry on an SP day (might try that sometime!)
