Morning tea, had a lovely few hours with my friend. She moved last year so don't get to see her very often, but when I do she always make me laugh so much my cheeks hurt.

Hubby has been paid today which was a surprise! I always wonder with banking technology why it can't clear on a Sunday! The DC have a busy weekend with their friends so hubby and I are child free. My plan is a treat ourselves to a kebab and get some serious gardening done (I'll be in charge of the to do list, drinks and motivation) so hopefully will be a very low spend.

Afternoon CG :) Glad you had a nice meet with your friend - laughter is definitely the best kind of medicine.

Your weekend plans sound nice. Loving the low spend but productive theme and I definitely like your role of supervisor :D

    Have a good day. xx

    Hi tea,

I'm ok plodding on as normal. Have been really busy with trying to get house sorted and hubby abd I went away to see friends at the weekend. We've had a spending month so far, so need to get that back under control. Have a trip to see another friend next weekend so our fuel is definitely killing the budget, but good etc will be same as taking things we'd buy at home with extra crate of lager.

I've had 3 ebay sales betting around £32 after fees and p&p so will get that moved over to sealed pot for Christmas. Once my total made (including cash I've already spent on Xmas pressies) anything extra I make will go towards the CC.

Debts are slowly coming down and we're currently paying over paying CC min to a round £100.

    Outstanding
    Zopa 1 - £7505.13
    Zopa 2 - £3093.87
    0% CC - £500

Total unsecured debt - £11099 looking forward to seeing that drop into the 10s next month!

    Mortgage home - £98881
    Mortgage btl - £39109

I'm definitely a WFW and can't wait to get rid of the loans and start tackling the mortgages!

Morning CG :) Sounds like you're getting out and about enjoying yourself which is great. I know you've said you feel like you're going stir crazy at times.

That's a huge amount to pay off if it will drop into the £10's :j Is that the amount you're aiming to pay every month? If so, seeing the figures move into the next bracket is going to really motivating.

Blimey girl, you're on fire if you're also planning to start on the mortgages. Fantastic.

    Have a lovely day. xx

I can't wait to say hello to the 10s! I can't remember the minimum so found it easier to pay £100 and it keeps it to a nice round number. The two loans are £99 and £197 so it's slowly reducing down by just under £400 a month. I just wish i could afford more to get it into the 9s.

As soon as my sealed pot extra cash hits 1k made this year any extra is going off the CC! I've decided we're not going to add the repairs to our debt, as not having the works done this year. Fed up feeling like taking one step forward and 2 back.

Don't feel too fed up CG :) You're doing remarkably well considering what you've gone through the past 12 months. Maybe the work on top of everything else is just one thing too much this year, mentally and financially, but I'm sure come the new year you'll be thinking about getting them sorted. And even if they've been put on the back burner for now, future decisions might be made knowing you want to do them sooner rather than later. xx

Thanks tea, it's been a bumpy road. I am torn with the need vs want but don't want to add to the debt! If we keep paying just the £100 and normal loan repayments (£99.80 & £197.50) that'll be £2000 paid off by Christmas and close to dropping down into the 8s.

Not much going on, avoiding the shops, meal prepping and planning like a pro. Receipts adding up - RH 3155 & Shoppix 9200. Keeping on scamming and will cash in for Xmas.
