266-299 huge box of clean yogurt pots, trays, jars etc. Gone to a freegle.
300 - 329 all my holiday clothes which have been in a case for a year and by the time I!!!8217;ve lost enough weight to wear them and saved enough money for a holiday will be ancient.
330 - 340 items of makeup which I!!!8217;ve started and will never finish because they are the wrong colour, or irritate, or smell wrong.
341 old dead tumble dryer to tinwith help of neighbour
342 bunch of cardboard into recycle bin
343 lawn cuttings to tip
344 (cs) children!!!8217;s game

347 - 357 old undies from drawer to bin
Oh and I!!!8217;ve given all my savings to my daughter and SiL to get them started with buying a house. That!!!8217;s a big and rather scary declutter but since baby arrived and SiL got his new job, they!!!8217;ve Changed their minds about renting. Hope they can find somewhere.Magnolia Stellata0 -

Thank you so much MrsSD for finding the last total I entered on our decluttering thread and also for reminding me which page it was on:). Only problem I have now is finding the other posts in between. I think there were about 2 or 3 or maybe 4 of them but can't remember:o :rotfl:
Just come indoors for a coffee and a catch up on MSE. I do have a few items to add next time but as so busy outside I am adding them to a small list to add together on here. That's if I or MrsSD can find the other 2 or 3 or 4 posts that also had a small total added to them:rotfl:
Edwink*3.36 kWp solar panel system,10 x Ultima & 4 x Panasonic solar panels, Solaredge Inverter *Biomass boiler stove for cooking, hot water & heating *2000ltr Rainwater harvesting system for loo flushing *Hybrid Toyota Auris car *RIP Pingu, Hoppy, Ginger & Biscuit *Hens & Ducks* chat thread. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=52822090 -

You are also doing well on the decluttering front.
basketcase, you are doing really well - have you worked out how many times your body weight you have declutteredNo I am not suggesting you post the answer
Re the ‘procrasticluttering’ Slob Lady uses it in her blog - which I am currently reading. She is very entertaining & she has quite a few helpful tips :T
I know a lot of things are obvious but it is surprising how blinkered I can beIt is the 1st of June so a new regime is starting
to go with the continued decluttering
1. IF I NOTICE SOME SMALL TASK NEEDS DOING - I WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY
Guess what - just did four small tasks :rotfl: put clean clothes away, washed up plate, new dish washing cloth (old one binned) & tidied up a small space :T
Wm is on with it’s 2nd load
B641 Old dish cloth binned
B642 contents of glass jar decanted & glass jar washed & recycled
B643 Plastic Milk Carton rinsed out & recycled

Need to pick a task to do next BUT it is such a nice day so I am in the garden trying to summon up the energy to start doing something or even anything :rotfl:

Greetings and congratulations to all!
Mrs SD - I’m with you about needing to back up the decluttering needing to have a ‘back up’ regime. I seem to have fallen back into my S&S +1 routine quite easily now that I’m getting up at 6.30. That, including doing the side of the bath, skirting boards and door in the bathroom and washing down the white goods (inc the boiler) and cleaning the soap drawer and seal on the WM were done before I gave DS a lift into work. (And that included a leisurely breakfast and email catch-up!) Got the washing for the day done too. Something to build on.
I’ve got a few items of Ironing Backlog left, which I’m going to count as clutter. I’ve got the new load of ironing to do too; but that’s not clutter, it’s ironing IYSWIM. I’ve decided that, to prevent more laundry clutter, ironing won’t count as clutter in future – even if it is. Hopefully that will help me to keep on top of it.
DD and I managed to deliver piles of stuff to the Salvation Army today.:j Some of it, like the boxes of books and assorted charity stuff has already been counted. But there was also a load of stuff I haven’t already mentioned. I was really pleased that DD went through the stuff in the Lavender Room. She wouldn’t have felt up to it even a few weeks ago. There were one or two games we decided to keep, but she also looked in one of the bags still in The Heaps and said one of them was a load of stuff she’d sorted out a while back to take to a CS. So that went straight out.
As it was such a beautiful day, we drove out and bought some ice cream from a really nice little gelateria we discovered a while back. It was nice to sit in the sun and relax for a while. Now that we can actually see some carpet, we’ve decided that the Lavender Room can be officially promoted (or do I mean demoted?!) to the Room of Doom. :rotfl:
Here’s a list of the extra stuff that went out today, weights and totals.
Old computer games in boxes, 25.5lbs
Bolt of curtain material which doesn’t match our decor any more, 12.5lbs
Pottery strawberry planter - small, 2.25lbs
Terracotta strawberry planter - large, 5.75lbs
Box of travel board games, 3lbs
Bag of CDs, 9lbs
Box of Assorted trinkets, ornaments, toys etc, 8lbs
Videos, 1.25lbs
Totals
Day’s Total 67.25lbs
Running total 1116.25lbs
Onwards and upwards...
By the way, Mrs SD:Mrs_Salad_Dodger wrote: »basketcase, you are doing really well - have you worked out how many times your body weight you have declutteredNo I am not suggesting you post the answer
No
Just as well...:D (although I was horrified to realise that I need to declutter approximately a microwave from my person
One ludicrous challenge at a time... :rotfl:A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!
CHALLENGES
2025 Declutter:
1 CONTAINER (box/bag/folder etc) per day; 50/365
1 FROG (minimum) per week; 6/52
WEIGHT I'll start with 25 lbs (though I need to lose more!) and see how it goes...🤔 0/25
2025 NSDs: 15 per MONTH - FEB 4/15; JAN 21/15
2025 Fashion on the Ration: (carried over from 2024) 10+66 = 76
2025 Make Do, Mend & Minimise No target, just remember to report!
AWARDS 💐⭐0 -
725-727 three shirts to charity shop. Others have been put in ebay.
728-729 magazines to DH work.
730-732 trays binned - they had seen better days.
Well done on everyone's decluttering.
The support in this board is amazing. It really encourages me to keep on and my house is looking better for it. I'm trying to leave a room tidier than when I went in. It is working.to a certain extent.0 -

villagelife, what a great idea ‘leaving a room tidier than when you went in’ - do you mind if I borrow that idea
