    Hi everyone,

One double kitchen cupboard sorted, so

    96 Tiny glass pot recycled
97 - 101 Glass Spice Jars to cs
102 Small ceramic plate to cs
103 - 143 Tin of cake decorating bits to great niece
144 M&S Flour Sifter to great niece or cs

    145 - 146 Magazines read & recycled

Now I am sitting down with a coffee & ‘girding my loins’ for the ‘assault’ on the bathroom:o

Back again! assault on bathroom was successful. Fully cleaned - walls, tiles, woodwork, floor, sink, bath & loo. Cabinet & shelves sorted - have plenty of soap, shampoo & bath/shower gels.
Will need loo roll, deodorant & toothpaste but not until next week at the earliest.

    147 Broken electric toothbrush binned
148 Metal corner unit going to recycling centre

The only thing left to do in the bathroom is a job for DH - finishing up the bath panel refitting.

    To a clutter free 2018

    Mrs SD:)

    First two items today -

    1. Bag of ball pit balls (why on earth did I think these would add to my son’s life?!)
    2. Two child’s clothes hangers

Started a charity shop bag, so the appropriate items are in there (otherwise recycled or binned):

    3. Another child's hanger and some bits of plastic packaging
    4. Big pile of cardboard gathered for recycling
    5. Pair of shoes sitting in a cupboard next to the bathroom had got spots of mould on
    6. Three plastic knitting needle sleeves
    7. A child's t-shirt
    8. Four small Christmas ornaments
    9. A toddler sized tie (this was a hand-me-down and I can't think when he will wear it as he doesn't own any shirts!
    10. A toddler melamine bowl (we have a full set of toddler crockery already)
    11. Three sets of straight knitting needles which were each my third set in those sizes - put aside to give to a friend who is learning to knit and requested them

Oh! Not really decluttering, but I also sorted out some toys to give to my son's grandparents to keep there (at their request), so more space in my house :D and put away all his outgrown baby toys to go in the loft along with some clothes and bibs - so a more clutter-free living space, at least! (If a more cluttered loft :p)

I plan this weekend, to tackle food cupboards, bathroom cupboard - large walk in affair that just attracts clutter - and office/study. Think I may have given myself too much to do and that RL might conspire and get in the way.........but anyway here goes......:D

    Hi,

Hoping to join in with a very realistic goal! I'd like to set myself the challenge of getting rid of 1 thing per week! But it's the awkward lying around FOREVER items I want to work on so that will still be an achievement for me. This is also the first MSE thread I've joined so hope I've done it right and that others will be king. :)

First on my list is an old replaced smoke detector which needs to go in a WEEE bin?! Been lying on the kitchen counter for nearly a year.
