Ignoring the emotional side, a divorce asap would give a 50:50 split whilst there was something still to split. Including the pension sharing of the pension he is not being able to take yet, because there will be more.
The worst case scenario is that he is happily sitting at home whilst you continue to work (so out of the way) to pay for everything & he depletes your savings until the money you know about is gone & then he goes anyway leaving you holding the can with no savings left.
Only you know if he is capable of doing something like this! And children can surprise you, they see a lot more than we think & sense a whole lot more.0 -
Could you move in with your mother, even for a while? It might make him wake up and realise things can’t go on in the same way.0
