I just saw this mobility scooter on the Netto website and thought it might help someone with an older relative (sorrry if it's not a good price, I don't know much about mobility scooters!) It's available from this Thursday (18th October) - click on Special Offers and it's on the first page of the 18 October deals.

I can't read the name on the Netto advert but for a price comparision on a model with similar speed/distance weight consideration Days Medical Bootie 4 Mobility Scooter this is £495.00 Ex VAT if you have a medical condition that means you need such a scooter but £581.63 Inc VAT if not.

Don't forget many of these are impulse buys and prove not to meet the needs of the person who buys them. Disability Equipment Register always has a list of nearly new hardly used scooters. as do Ebay Scooters and Buggies

I'm not trying to put anyone off getting one but I do think you would be well advised to try one out first at your local Shopmobility to make sure you can cope with one.
