Santander are a crappy law unto themselves.. we had a joint account which was supposed to be closed 9 years ago but is still fully operational.. forms were signed they just simply ignored them. I get new bank cards sent here which I chop up and bin, I get monthly statements.. I had a letter about 3 years ago saying the account was going to be archived due to non-use and it is still a live account.
Can you prove you didn't put the money in to pay the ex a debt you owe them? That was what I was asked when he took my last £50 out.. They have very few scruples when it comes to customers.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
