Thanks Blackcat, currently only two of the clothing items I bought don't have any watchers. They all finish tomorrow night, usually with clothing the bidding doesn't happen til right near the end anyway as there is just so much of it on ebay to trawl through so it's only when it's near the finish time that most people see it.

Fingers crossed I recoup some money tomorrow then I'll relist those that don't sell. It's all a learning curve at this stage, I have made my spreadsheet to work out profit and it's quite shocking to see how much goes in ebay / paypal fees, plus I need to keep 20% of any net profit by for the taxman

A few more watchers and another bid overnight, having thought about it I'm not too worried if items don't sell as I can relist them tonight for 3 days and they will finish on Sunday evening, which is a better time to end than a thursday afternoon :)

So this morning, ds has completed another piece of homework and gone off to work, I've had a bath, put the bins out, sorted the clean washing, rounded up all the stuff for the dishwasher, made the beds and am now enjoying a cup of tea.

The plan for today is to get the house ship-shape as tomorrow we're going away for the weekend, and when we get back it will be getting ready for school time so there won't be any time to do it then.

    Today I need to:
    • Clean the bathroom
    • Clean my bedroom
    • Clean ds bedroom
    • Hoover through upstairs
    • Clean the downstairs loo
    • Clean the hall floor
    • Tidy / clean the kitchen
    • Clear the dining table
    • Ironing
    • Restock ds pencil case
    • Sort ds school bag
    • Pring ds homework off the computer
    • Hoover through downstairs
    • Water the indoor plants
    • Parcel up any sold ebay items tonight
    • End of month banking
    • Pack for weekend trip
    • Find sleeping bags

    Best get started then!! :D:D

Dinner is done, ds doesn't want to do his homework ... nothing new

3 items sold in the end, total £21, all made a small profit so not too bad. one has paid and has gone on its way to the post office, hopefully the other two will pay tonight.

I have relisted the other items and they will finish again on sunday night.

hey i think a lot of the time when an item ends matters certainly for last minute bids. ive changed mine to later in evening 9ish. its nice when people bid early and hate seeing an item with lots of watchers not selling.
but good relisting ive had several things sell recently been on months ok if u have room to keep
last thing best things ive bought then sold on 50p ech from jumble sale
joules dress sold for £16 and some capri trousers i didnt recognize sold for £23
    good luck with it

I just tend to list clothes on a buy it now basis as I know some people just want toms roll through and buy as they see it. It's worked well so far. If it resists more than twice I'll drop the price by a pound and see if that's helps.

So I have spent the last 24 hours literally reading up on blogging - wow this is a whole new world that had passed me by :D I'm so super excited and want to spend every minute under the sun working on this but today we're off camping so there won't be much done over the weekend

I have managed to set up me blog ... it is currently only one page and it needs a lot of work / adjusting done on it, but I am just so so proud to have achieved that bit already; I have zero techy skills and don't understand the lingo (I'm like your Nan when telly's first had remote controls ;)) .

Anyway, it has a name, a logo, a background and some writing on it, woohoo :j :j It is http://extrapennies.co.uk if any of you would like to have a look :D:D Like I say, currently there is almost nothing on there but I am so keen to get going on this I'm like a kid at Christmas :D There will be reviews of survey sites that I use, apps that I use on my phone to make money, my reselling journey, some matched betting, mystery shopping ... I just want to get stuck in right away!! I will take my big notebook with me this weekend so I can scribble down ideas and plans but we are going away with friends so I don't know that there will be that much opportunity to do anything.
