I love my hedgehogs too Drawingaline, I'm really lucky as for some reason this estate has loads of them. Best bit of my garden :)
The Tesco order has just been delivered, I did clean out the fridge this morning ready, it is now nice and full again and we are well stocked in everything again. There was only one item that was out of stock and not substituted (a bag of frozen mixed veg), I even got hold of some paracetamol which has made my day as we didn't have any.
I've also hoovered through, wiped round the bathroom and cleaned the bedrooms and done 3 loads of washing. Feeling nicely on top of stuff right now :)
I do need to do the end of month banking stuff at some point today or tomorrow - that has completely gone to pot this month - lots of extra food shopping and less eating out, no money made on footie bets, my isa's have plummeted .... we're all in the same boat though.

Another day - carrot cake has been made and is doing its thing in the oven, first load of washing is on the line. Today involves sorting the end of month banking stuff - this month will be crazy but I need to see where we're at.before we start another mad month.

Morning, so last night the boiler has gone on the blink again. This is becoming a regular thing and I can see a new one being needed in the not so distant future - fabulous timing! Luckily the emersion works so we can still have hot water but its freezing in here this morning!
A new month though and the banking is looking relatively okay. This month I will be watching every penny as Mr S's work is now beginning to dry up.
I have set myself a target for my cards for this month and want to spend quite a bit of time focussing on that.
I did stop at the shop when I dropped Mr S at work and got some more bread, I also picked up a 4 pack of tuna, they had reduced them all to half price, so £2.48 for 4 big tins of tuna, very happy with that :)
Washing machine is on again, I've had a bath (mainly to warm up), and now it's time to do some proper work. Keep safe everyone!

I hear you on the boiler! Ours is thq water side that is on the blink. Plumber diagnosed over the phone but is self isolating and he said we should be OK for a bit. But if it breakes, that's it no hot water at all! Then it would be an emergency. And then would the parts even be available?

Yay hello Buffy, long time no speak! :)
Drawingaline - I know the feeling, I have decided to make do with the emersion and blankets when it's cold.
Today has been spent doing my proper school work and quite a bit of posting online for my cards. Lots of the main card retailers are either closed or not taking online orders so I am hoping to keep my business going with online sales as we are currently still sending them out. Fingers crossed x
Dinners done here and all cleared up (tuna pasta bake tonight), we're just sitting down for half an hour before we go outside to clap then another early night because of the cold :) Today has been a nsd though which I'm pleased about.

Hi Beanie, not one with a number on it - I have some generic ones that may be suitable, depends what sort of thing she is into? Let me know if there is a specific one you like and I can see if I have it, www.flamingopaperie.co.uk/web/joharding

Morning all, so tomorrow will see the start of a shiny brand new diary for me. I will post the link once its up and running. Tomorrow will also see the start of my lockdown project. I've decided that while I can't control what's going on in the bigger wider world, I can take control of whats happening to me. I, like millions, am always saying "If only I had the time to exercise, if only other things didn't get in the way ..." well, be careful what you wish for because for the foreseeable nothing is getting in the way and very little is taking up my time. So, I am going to assume school is out until September, that gives me 5 months to get myself sorted. Plans are being drawn up, all will be revealed tomorrow.
In the meantime, while I come to the dawning realisation that our cruise isn't going to happen this summer, I have just treated myself to a pile of goodies from my friends Tropic website. I love their stuff and I have run out of quite a few of the bits I use, so £100 of my holidays funds have been splurged on treating myself (and supporting my friend in the process:) ).
BBQ is planned for today, the suns out, the shorts are on :)
