Stream TV Signal Wirelessly from Aerial Socket?

Just get a Firestick .0

Thanks for all the ideas. With regards to extending the cable, it's definitely not an option. I have no door frame to wrap it round, and it would either have to go across the ceiling or floor (unsightly.)
I have discovered a real interesting American product, that turns your antenna socket into a live WIFI transmitter. This signal can then be picked up by something like a Firestick, or Apple TV.

I am going to look into this option more.0 -
I've just read that above option is for North American tv, so doubt very much it will work in UK. So it's back to the drawing board.
At this stage I'm not sure about using a Firestick, as I reckon it will use large amounts of internet data. The Humax seems a good idea, but it's pricy.0 -
All devices that stream off the internet will use large amount of data, its an unavoidable part of the way they work. You can get unlimited data internet packages now almost as standard so it shouldn't be an issue for most people.0

Another disadvantage of trying to watch live tv through the internet is that not everything is available - certain films, sporting events etc. are not streamed on iPlayer. ITV Hub etc due to licencing restictions0
