Stream TV Signal Wirelessly from Aerial Socket?

Hi
I am wanting to re-arrange the layout of my living room, and put a flatscreen TV on a wall that has no access to a TV socket.
I don't want to get a new aerial socket put in, as I reckon it will be a bit of work, and probably involve lifting the flooring.
Can anyone recommend a simple/economic solution if possible.? I don't want to spend too much on it, as I only watch the news these days, and that's about it.
Thanks.

It does exist but its expensive. It's cheaper just to get an extension kit like this and tack any excess to the skirting board:

Maybe you need to consider using the Internet to deliver your TV service. Most new TV's are Smart and can receive the internet wirelessly. Of course you will need a decent broad band service though.

Thanks for the suggestions. The cable extension is obviously the most simple, however I can't do that as it would run across a doorway. I'll look into the Internet tv options.

Can you not run an aerial extension lead over the doorway?0 -
Hi, if your wifi is ok how's about one of these as a cost effective option starting at about £15:

Works well for us and no need for smart or 4k tv0 -

Strange suggestion.
Perhaps you meant to post the box and not a Pass.

If you have good Internet access in the room concerned, consider; https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertainment/digital-and-smart-tv/smart-tv/roku-express-smart-streaming-player-10171673-pdt.html0

If the TV has wireless than you could do wireless streaming from a box over your network. A bit too much trouble just for watching the news though!
I think Neil Jones has the simplest solution - just add some staples.0 -

Thats no issue, just go round the door frame, use some plastic trunking like D line trunking rather than rectangular style for the last part from the skirting board (if you wanted it from the skirting board) to the tv.0 -
It's an expensive solution but it's the only wireless on I can think of.
Buy a Humax fvp-4000t (£180) or Humax FVP-5000T (£210) and install this in a room in your house that has access to a TV socket
Then buy a Humax H3 Espresso (£80) and connect it to your TV . You can then stream live TV and recordings from your Humax FVP-X000T box.
It works over your home network, so uses WiFi and no cables are required, but it would be best if at least one of them is connected to your router via a cable.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
