Do I need it or just want it.
  • Thanks to Zippy for opening again , I would like to opt for £1800 this year as although I went over last year, have two freezers fully stuffed, so must be able to reduce overall spends this year (fingers crossed) lol. Happy new year to all and hugs for those that need them.

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is ok.

I've been shopping today. Spent a total of £55.41 between Ald! And H.Bargains. Shouldn't need much more this week just topups of bread and milk.

Spent a tiny bit more than I intended as local Ald! had reduced all their Maris Piper potatoes to £0.14 per 2.5kg - currently in possession of 6 bags. That should last us for a while.

Happy New Year to one and all!

Popped to sains today and counting it in the January budget. A large £50.99 using a mov. Stocked up on plant milk, cheeses, freezer staples and tonnes more stuff. We are in a routine of shopping once weekly at a!di for fruit, vegetables and staples, then a once weekly shop at sa!nsburys for the bits we can't get elsewhere. Ideally I'd like a £40 spend at each. So failing already.
Tea tonight is hm mushroom pie (vegan)/veggie sausage roll/hm ham pie, mash and veg. With hm apple and pear crumble to use up soft fruit. Best get on with making our new years eve feast.
    Happy New Year Everyone. X
