Glad to know that you are feeling a bit more like yourself Deleted_User, and TA, I did mean to say that it was good to hear your good ish news.
I'm making a focaccia loaf for this evening, usually make white ones but him indoors forgot my white bread flour so it will be a mixed with wholemeal one, not done that before but I think it should be edible.
Sitting room is now reasonably tidy, I've emptied the cr*p vax and swapped out its filter (bought a spare when I realised how quickly it clogs up).
It has stopped raining for the moment, v soggy out though.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -

Mine too, which is why I said keep talking. My cousin likes to stay near to his AA meetings. When his (now ex) wife was chasing him round the house trying to put a hammer through his head I offered him to come and stay with me but he preferred to stay close to his known support network. She left in the end with the car and the tv while he was at work. If you get fed up pm me....I'll be wide awake later thanks to steroids.we're going up to Yorkshire and won't be back till the middle of January.
Travel safely. There's a lot of white stuff up there. My friend is in Hawes which was out of the area for snow warning but woke up to it anyway.
Apparently even though I haven't been as ill as the HT, asthma and coughing viruses aren't good together. I have steroids and antibiotics after ringing the doctor this morning when my peak flow measurements were lower two hours after I got up than they were first thing. Hmph!0 -
Thankfully we have no snow......rain and wind this morning, gone now, Mossy and OH even went for their walk.
I massively over catered the stew for yesterdays dinner so we are having that again, there will also be enough for DD4 and her tribe, so cheap nourishing dinner for all!
FBO, Dumpling and Becky, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Csarina, Holly, Cranky, thinking of you all.
Hugs to anyone I have missed and those of you affected by the snow.
Looking forward to the return of the rest of my brood on Sunday and the return to normality ( in this house??) next week. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Hello all.
A late post as I couldn't sleep at all last night, finally fell asleep at 6.30am . Got up at 10.30 and been playing catch up all day.
Dad called in yesterday, think he was feeling guilty about his behaviour over Xmas. Brought Mr Fix It some minty shower gel and I got a pack of reduced Xmas cards and half a cucumber :rotfl:. Unfortunately it's not us that he should be apologising to, it should be DD. Anyway he stayed for a hot beverage, watched an episode of the Grand tour and he will be back here on Sunday for lunch.
Today I have filled the DW and put away the best crockery and cutlery, which is only brought out on high days and holidays ( i.e. the matching stuff) and popped to the local shop just for milk. I even managed to dodge the heavy rain/hailstorms that we have had on and off all day. Sorted the leftover crisps, cheese biscuits and sweeties in to lock and lock boxes, and hoovered up the pineapple cheese ring that Mr Fix It threw all over the floor . Juggling is not his finest quality :rotfl:.
Tea tonight will be a salad, my stomach just will not accept any more rich food.
Hope everyone has had a good day. Please stay safe and warm.
Snoozer hope you have a lovely time in Yorkshire
AOD shall I lend you Jasper pup ? He does a great job hoovering up just about anything at floor level, edible or not :rotfl:.
HollyH please don't push yourself too hard, too soon. Take care my lovely.
TA good news for Mr TA. I had every thing crossed for you yesterday, even my eyes. Now you need to be on the mend too, so sending many healing vibes your way.
Hope all the poorlies get well soon and for the sad or worried, there's plenty of hugs in my bucket, so please help yourselves.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
nannywindow I'm not sad or worried but I love the idea of a bucket of hugs. They should be placed all over where people who need them can reach them easily (Like the help yourself to grit bins we used to have for winter until our tight ars3d council emptied them all and took them away).0

Cranky40 My bucket always "runneth over" with hugs, please take as many as you would like, at anytime. It's like the magic porridge pot only filled with hugs insteadFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
